Arrow Pudsey Grangefield Grammer School - November 09

This lovely Grade 2 listed building is in Pudsey, Leeds. It closed in 2008 when a new ultra modern school was built behind the old one. Now just the main admin building and a more modern annex building remain.

There are some lovely details in this building the best of which are the turrets, these give lovely views over West Leeds but the floors and ladders up to them are rotten through. Loads of abandoned equipment, 1950s text books and other academic tat remain.

More info about the school HERE

Some of the outside, notice the twin glass turret thingys.

    Abandoned drums

    Superb entrance and mosaic

    Main corridor

    Inside the turrets

    Empty corridors and classrooms

    Library

    Modern annex and science block.

Under the radar, over the top

Nice! Funny, of all the things to leave they left two timps, worth a couple of hundred each!
