I spotted this place on google a couple of months ago but never got round to paying a visit. But with the recent reports and the impending demo me and judders decided to record it before she's turned to rubble.
At first, things didn't seem to be boding well as this is what greeted us.
The Asbestos removal gang.
Shouldn't they be at home tucking into Yorkshire puds with the family?
The lads were sound enough though. We just told them we wanted to take some pics before It's flattened.
They locked us in and left us to it
History is hard to find on the net. But I would imagine it was designed by one of the Scott Brothers who put Oldham's textile mills well and truly on the map.

On with the pics then.
Castle Mill.
The vast empty floors.
The light in here was lovely.
And through the square window.
Wouldn't be the same without the slide shot.
The hoisting gear.
Lift gear.
Some nice lab and medical items. Surprised they were still intact.
And for the peeling paint fans.
Some lovely colours in here.
Top of the shop.
Earl Mill.
Belgrave Mill.
Maple Mill.
And here's the money shot
And the rest here.
