Shame, that looks like a 68 but has the security from more modern posts on the FSM?

I think it's been open for the past couple of years – I certainly hiked up to it in '07 and it was still well sealed. As usual, the remote posts up the glens are left alone, but this is too close to Fintry, so the neds have done their worst.

Setting them on fire seems to be a common thing. Either the chavs are torching it or looters are burning the evidence.

Theres shit all left to loot. I wish there was a large restoration society, where we could just make all the decent ones secure, and lock them over a master keyed padlock system where members of the society can have a key and visit them regulary and check theyre ok. Then if shit went missing from them, we'd know it was a member!

No matter how secure you make things, some loser will use an equal amount of force to get in.

There's a factory near me which is sheeted solid so the local metal gypos just put a hole right through the brick wall........

It is such a shame. It makes you feel partly responsible in a way.

If they want it bad enough they'll get in unfortunately!

Seen a number of posts with the concrete around the hatch smashed off or hasps cut in order to gain access!
